im pretty sure this is the furthest into the season where he isnt the majors leader in WAR (when he has been healthy and hasnt missed large amounts of games)

Sounds like his teammates have given him plenty of chances to succeed then. He must have plenty of postseason success.

Oh wait.

It varies, but it’s generally accepted that position players peak somewhere between their age 27-30 season. Trout is 27. So, it’s very likely, however unlikely it seems, that Trout still hadn’t peaked. Barring a career ending injury or an Andruw Jones type fall off, we may be watching the greatest baseball player of all time.

What about his desire to win? Why stay with a mediocre organization that has zero shot at winning anything in his career.

Yet no one nationally gives a shite or ever sees him play because he voluntarily stuck himself permanently on a team no one cares about.

He might as well be playing on Klendathu...

MLB should have stepped in and said "wour game is dying, your going to a big market team with high visibility."

Trout will be the only guy that folks in 50 years talk about but always say they never saw him play, even though his games were on TV every night.

It disgusted me when the Braves took Mike Minor over him.

I understand several teams past on him, but I really wanted the Braves to draft him. I hated the Mike Minor selection.
