It doesn't really matter what one's stance is on gender fluidity or transgenderism or whatever. The reason sports have separated males and females for competition has nothing to do with "gender preference", but rather has to do with genetics and biology. Sorry, if you are biologically a male, you shouldn't get to use your biological advantages in competing with the opposite sex that doesn't have those advantages.

On the flip side, I don't care if a biological female wants to compete in male sports. More power to her.

You lost me here. They need to stay with their kind for many reasons. And being a threat to win against a male isn't one of them.
