I just saw on sports center that woj reported were looking to trade the 4th for picks 8 and 10. Not a fan. You can still potentially get a superstar at 4.
Draft. Garland.
I read that the thinking is there is a big drop off in talent after the top 3 and very little drop in talent in 4-14.
8 and 10 give better odds of hitting on at least one of them. No they may not be superstars (altho they could) but we've got that in Zion.

The perception is changing for some reason.
Garland is now THE hot player amongst the guys on the 4-8 tier.
I don’t know how much of that is NBA execs falling in love with a guy without much film and how much is Griff spinning bullshite in the media that people are actually buying.
Either way, if the perception is there that Garland is worth more than any of those other players, I keep fielding calls to see how much of a premium someone wants to make the jump.
If there isn’t a good enough deal, take him. If there is, we either get a needed veteran and/or more of a warchest for future seasons.

The Rockets will pursue J Bultler...
If he lands there, that is one less free agent our beloved Lakers can pursue.
The future drafts will be soooooo sweet...

I've really dove into this draft and I really disagree with this. I think the talent and potential actually drops off drastically after #7, #8 if you want to include Reddish but I want nothing to do with him.
It's just hard for me to fathom trading out of the top 7. I would much prefer one swing at a star at #4 then two swings at much lesser prospects later in the lottery.
