I have two vehicles and live in Metairie. Paying $340 per month. One vehicle is old and the other is new (2 years old) and we have one very small claim in our history.
The rates are fricking absurd. I could insure 8 vehicles in a neighboring state for what we pay for two

Damn ours is a little under $200 for 2 vehicles.

Have an old beast that’s in rough shape and about to be replaced. Was thinking of keeping it around for trips to the dog park, hauling junk you don’t want in a new car etc... but it makes absolutely no sense at the insurance cost

I'm glad to see others pay a lot too. I thought I was just getting ripped off. I pay $365 a month for three vehicles.
