re: Whirlpool washer won't drain - isn't there an expert on the OT somewhere?

I had the same problem with my Whirlpool Cabrio with the same error code but changing the drain pump fixed it. I know you’ve done this - all I can suggest is is double check your electrical connections to the new pump to make they are well seated. I know it’s a pain in azz having to empty the damn tub by hand every time you have to turn it over to get underneath it. Good luck.
P.S. I was kind of secretly hoping at the time that wouldn’t fix it so I could buy a Speed Queen.

Thanks for your thoughts guys.
I'd hate to buy a new washer, but also am leary of wasting $200-250 on a computer board just to figure out its not the issue or have to pay $140+ to a repairmanwho will then make me pay more than $200 for a computer board.
Plus it seems these Cabrio's (the Maytag version and some of the Whirlpool version) don't last too long past 5 years from reading reviews - multiple things go wrong.

Speed Queen machines are GREAT! Best investment we ever made in a washer/dryer combo. We got the "plain Jane" models,
no buttons, very few electronic parts. It;s like having a commercial machine in our house. They come with unbelievable warranties, 15 yrs on major mechanical and 3 yrs on everything.
