Really? They're favoring one race over another, assisting one race over another. They're saying "If your skin is THIS color we have money for you. If your skin is THAT color, we don't.

That's not racist?


Btw, just for context, I'm asking this question because the president of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary announced today at the Southern Baptist Convention meeting in Birmingham that his seminary now has scholarship money set aside exclusively for African American students. I get it that they want more black students at their school. It just seems that they're committing an immoral act to do it.

Spur is 100% correct. People seem to have trouble grasping that racism and discrimination are not the same thing.
