I'm not even discussing what is and what isn't holding up a potential deal. I'm just simply discussing that it's not insane to assume that the lakers and pelicans have agreed to some kind of framework of what the deal will look like and the Lakers are trying to operate under those terms and find a way to make it work

I'm also not suggesting that this guy is gospel. Just that he has had some sought of history of being out in front of some stuff, and has been wrong before

I have no doubt that the Pelicans have told the Lakers what the Lakers could do to pull off a trade, but that will also include the Lakers having to flip some of their assets to a third team. I would assume the Pels want Ingram and draft picks from the Lakers, but it's up to the Lakers to flip their other assets for something the Pels want. Doesn't that seem like it's still pretty far off?

I guess my point is, that while the information might be true, it isn't anything really new.
