If I am being objective I think the Lakers have a narrow 1-2 year window where they could conceivably win a title under a set of strict circumstances.

- Griffin caves and trades him there this offseason

- Lebron and AD can remain relatively healthy(not exactly a guarantee)

- Lebron magically doesn't Chirs Bosh or Kevin Love AD and try and turn him into a guy standing in the corner waiting for Lebron to kick it out.

- They can pry away at least one other superstar that is a cohesive fit(Kemba, Kyrie, Kawhi) and not a square peg(Butler).

- Fill out the rest with solid ring-chasing veterans.

But all of those are big if's and I still don't think it's a guarantee. Lebron is 35 with the miles on his body of someone several years older. But either way, AD is chasing a fantasy through some serious wishful thinking. Best case scenario for a Lakers situation basketball-wise will be one or two years of true competitiveness and then a lot of frustrated, entitled Lakers fans that are going to expect championships out of a broken Lebron and his mental dough boy.

So when AD said it was all about playing for a winner he actually meant I only want to play for 1 of 2 dysfunctional organizations that have long playoff droughts. I don’t even believe he wants to be a Knick, this all about making sure LeBron doesn’t go out a loser in LA, or what’s best for AD. They’re trying to game the system

Jenner IS the best “female” decathlete in history. What the frick has RP do besides ride LeBron’s jock?

Even if they get what they want, I don’t see it working out.

The west is too strong, their roster sucks, few players want to play with LeBron these days, and both guys are hurt.

By the time AD Can join Lebron in L. A., Lebron will be months away from being 36 years old as well as will be in his last year of contract before he can opt out with his player option 4th year.

its why I'd want more first round picks from L.A., great chance the whole thing still implodes.

Honestly, if it weren't for the game changer of landing zion I would take the cheaper package just to frick them

So, because Dell wanted to talk to the player instead of the agent, it is Dell’s fault the agent turned this into a circus?

I guess RP has never said “no comment” in his life.

We know that but lemmings will eat that and any other site now that the "narrative" is out.

Media is getting scared

I wish Adam Silver has half the balls that Stern had. This crack head shouldn’t be able to control the league the way he does.

He's admitting that he got mad because we talked to our currently under contract star player so he decided to tank his client's reputation and go scorched Earth and thinks that makes him the victim?

This is not a new revelation. Davis listed two teams on his wish and Boston was never included. It's not only his agent but his dad.
Boston has salary cap questions, Hartford, Rozier and Morris, that will determine their pursue of Davis.
I still would like to see a Wagner. Ingram, Ball and the fourth pick for Davis.

So basically Paul's defense is he tried to extort the Pelicans privately, and when Demps wanted to confirm it with the employee he employs, not some middleman, Paul's ego demanded a response so he went scorched earth at the expense of his own client's interest.

essentially throwing grease on a boston trade, his own agent is already killing any possible chance of nice endorsement deals to come his way in Boston. You know, a huge american fricking city.

Lakers are a dumpster fire. They will be lucky to get to the playoffs in the next 2 years. This was never about winning, it was about extending LBJs career. Lakers gonna trade away all their talent and be losers just like when they had to pay everything to a washed up Kobe.

Rich Paul will do this to AD every day until he stands up for himself. LINK

Either that or Rich bluntly knows Lakers are having difficulty acquiring what's being asked.
