With every other organization and lifestyle having a "month" Does anyone know if there is an official month for Acadians/Cajuns?

We don’t need a month, we celebrate all year long. We make up shite to celebrate.

It will probably be August since no one else wanted August

Unlike the blacks/gays/women, we don’t have to force people to celebrate our culture. They celebrate it all on their own because it’s kickass

I don't know about a "Month" but Black Friday is designated as "Acadian Day" in Louisiana.

Thanks to everyone who responded. I was just curious as I had never heard of one but I figured I'd ask.

It would just be another excuse to raise crawfish prices

I hate when the culture police come to my house every February and make me go to the Black History month events against my will.

Who cares? I hate cajun culture to begin with, so I wouldn't celebrate it even if you paid me.
