I’m thinking they see a trade possibility but I don’t see what they get out of this that really helps them.


Phoenix and Chicago would both be interested but the drop from 2 to 6-7 is pretty damn big in this draft.

The Lakers could be interested in jumping but their main trade chit would be Lonzo, who lost his shite at the possibility of going to New Orleans. Memphis is a far worse destination.

Theoretically the Knicks could flip picks but what would they give up to do so?

If they're looking to trade down then it's not really the drop from 2 vs 6-7 that you need to look at.

It's is there a difference in dropping to 4 or 6-7.

If they have a group of guys rated similarly then it might not matter to them if they drop to 6-7 if the return is better.
