Hopefully this USM team is tired and dehydrated.

Powell probably isn’t available either after throwing 60 plus pitches yesterday. Maybe is available it a one or two batters type of situation!

I wonder if Matt Wallner would pitch if it came down to it. Tons of potential on the mound but suffered a forearm injury at the beginning of the year and hasn't thrown a single pitch this season. Never heard anything further about the injury.

I know nothing about their staff, but it doesn’t look like they have much left. They were piecing it together against ASU, another game tonight won’t make it any easier.

That's the roster from their website. I'm sure a number of those guys are hurt or no longer active

They had 4 guys throw more than 30 pitches today, they won't be available.

Do they get anyone else back if they force a game tomorrow? Or is it just this less whoever plays tonight?

Maybe not. In an elimination game you never know

None of the remaining lefties look scary. We already crushed Tweedy

My guess is Strickland starts, Tweedy is the first choice from the pen and then they try to piece it together from there.

I've heard he has a chronic hip condition that keeps him off the mound. Don't expect to see him (isn't the MLB draft tomorrow?) but I guess it's possible.

Wallner has had hip and forearm issues when he has pitched.

He was expected to be a weekend guy for us this year, throwing mid-90s and developed a splitter. He experienced soreness before the season and my understanding is that his team said no more pitching (and I can’t blame them).

Thanks. I removed him. Do y'all have any other injuries or guys that are unlikely to pitch?

Stuart and Manley are redshirts.

Not sure if you had Boyd on there—he hasn’t pitched. Took a RS last year for surgery but apparently still had issues.

Jackson has pitched once in like 2-3 months. Not sure if he’s there but I doubt it.
