My wife just finished this last night, and absolutely loved it. The acting was terrific and the humor was solid throughout. We both wished there would be more, but glad that it was written the way it was.
Also, neither of us have read the book, so I'll be curious to hear from more people who have to see if it lived up to their expectations.

Do they cover the entire story in just the 6 episodes?

Finished this yesterday. I haven't read the book either but I really enjoyed it. I read somewhere this is a one and done, does anyone know more about that?

The one time I cringed was SPOILERS
the "shut up" scene, where the kid silences his friends.
They could have done better than what they did, effects-wise.
