The baby doesn't exist. It was aborted. It doesn't care.

False choice
Bull shite. I have no problem with welfare in theory, but it's obvious a government can't make people responsible. People typically get out of poverty when they're not offered this stuff for life. If a woman loves her kid, she'll bust her arse to provide a life for him. If she doesn't, she won't have them for economic reasons anymore.

I can almost guarantee I’m more pro-choice than you. But folks who can afford a child but abort it irk me.
And yeah I’m pretty dense right now

Damn really thought we could discuss the topic a little more. That’s cool though.

I agree with you that the government can’t make people act responsibly. But let’s say we outlawed abortion tomorrow. What do we do with the millions of unwanted kids that would have otherwise been aborted? Adoption doesn’t touch the problem. The answer is a massive expansion of the foster care, Medicaid, and government-run orphanage system.
You down with paying for it all? I’m not. Let the poors self-select to kill their unwanted kids if they want to.

My guess is it comes down to you don't really believe it's a human life. I say that because you can't put a price on millions of human lives. I get where you're coming from, I just have a hard time accepting that we should allow killing human lives for economic gain. I understand this and it's a difference in opinion I can accept.

Or how about mass murdering the children of poor people who can't afford to take care of them, since it's all about the children.
I’m completely good with first trimester, government funded abortions for people on welfare/Medicaid.

So are you for increasing the teeth of the tort system? Companies, for example, put a price on human lives every single day in the pursuit of economic gain.

When I was younger I had an abortion. It was the smartest decision I could’ve made for myself and my boyfriend at the time.
Should’ve just left it there. No reason to try and justify killing the fetus if you don’t actually believe anything is wrong with it.

Killing her baby growing inside her was smart for the baby. What a count.
How many babies from unwanted pregnancies have you adopted and cared for? I’ll hang up and listen.

I'm not familiar enough with tort law to make an opinion on that. However, in an effort to answer you question, I'm typically in favor of allowing two consenting parties to make any kind of agreement they would like. I'm very libertarian, my problem with abortion is the fetus isn't a consenting party.
