He’s the one poster on here I can recognize with 100 percent accuracy on any post longer than a sentence or two.

Swell.

Based on results as Ottothewise, if I string two sentences together with any new idea near it, half the readers claim inability to comprehend. That percentage goes way down if I break it up some.
I accept the bell curve says many are below 100 IQ.

Humbly and sincerely, May I ask what Church you attend? I believe you are correct in your interpretation of scripture. Peace and Blessings!

The first place my mind went was the story of the Centurian who's Hebrew slave was ill (beginning at Matthew 8:5). The Centurian (presumably not a believer) sought out Jesus to heal the Centurian's slave at the request of and on behalf of his slave. The Centurian, though he wasn't a "believer", displays great faith in the story. So that doesn't fit what you're looking for. But, strictly speaking it was a story of a "non-believer" that very directly called on Jesus to heal a "believer".

The Centurion displayed greater faith than what Jesus had seen in all of Israel.
He was a believer in Christ in every sense of the word.
He was a believer in Christ in every sense of the word.

The problem is you can’t do any of that. So, great advice

I agree completely. And truly it is the exact opposite of what he's looking for, but I've seen passages butchered before...
The only other thing I could think of is Jonah...but Jonah was also a believer. He just happened to hope that the people of Ninevah wouldn't repent.
I can't think of any that hit exactly on what OP is looking for.

The OP is a liberal atheist who is just casting about for rubbish. It is a waste of time to try to answer his question.

That’s from Macbeth, Act 2, scene 3.

No he isn't. I'm one, and he isn't at any of the meetings.

Woah woah woah, hold up bro... "
1. So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing the Word of God"
2. He that believes and is baptized shall be saved, he that believes not shall be condemned.
3. Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins.
4. He that confesses my name before men, I will confess him before my Father which is in heaven.
and for the, "Just call on the name of the Lord " crowd... Not everyone who calls Lord, Lord shall be saved, but he who DOES THE WILL OF MY FATHER WHICH IS IN HEAVEN...
Obedience does matter, disobedience does as well. they can lead in differing directions. FWIW
Grace saves us, obedience accepts such grace, fwiw
