The argument has been had ad nauseum
You can’t time injuries. They occur when a player is trying to make a play
Baseball is not a contact sport where you might be able to argue that injuries are directly proportional to time of exposure.
Injuries outside of maybe a pitcher’s arm don’t occur based on the amount of time a player plays over a given amount of time.
The Astros are analytical enough to figure it out after a few seasons. Let them get a decent enough sample size and they will quit paying players to rest
Unless they’re just purposelly sabotaging player’s numbers for negotiating contracts. Systematic resting of star position players definitely affects the team’s overall record, and doesn’t help come playoff time. Pitching definitely does factor come playoff time.

I thought we deserved that last game in Boston but yuli’s and white’s frickery lost it for us. I think this one cancels that one. But we need to hit the ball better than we have. Offense is slumping the last 3 games.

Springer out isn’t going to help

Going to miss George for the rest of this series and the next vs the Cubs. Hope Ted does damage in his absence

The only bad thing about not being in Fresno anymore is that you can't see who gets pulled from the game.

Ted is the obvious call up. We need him to play in the field. He’s hot and he at least has some at bats at the mlb level

shite we’re looking at two weeks minimum.
Crane should pull a Col Jessup on Hinch and Lunhow. “To say nothing of the fact that these are professional athletes and yet they can’t seem to be able to run from here to there without pullling a hamstring!”

Yep no 40 man roster issues also. If yed gets the call up white gets moved. Not that I would hate that but it ain’t gonna happen

A.J. Hinch said George Springer exited with a left hamstring issue. “It doesn’t look very good,” Hinch said.
Well there it is.

The Astros won the battle of New Orleans last week.
Fox 8 rotates between the Stros and the Braves.

AJ Reed is still occupying space on the 40 man. He's the obvious DFA when Yed's time comes.

Didn’t realize that. Still surprised they haven’t had him throw from the mound at this point

Well, at least this opens the door for one of the _ed boys. If they call up Fisher, I'll boycott.
