Garza has blocked everything. Bad decision imo for Mathis to replace

At least you said it immediately and didn't wait till you were proven right or wrong and then made a thread.

I think it has as much to do with him having caught 12 innings the day after catching 9 innings and have another 9 inning game tomorrow

Probably. Combined with the fact that want to score on a ball in the gap, and Garza isn't going to do that.

I agree though, he has caught a great game.

If you can’t understand relieving him after he has caught 22 innings in 24 hours with a game tomorrow you dont understand baseball. The constant griping about stupid stuff is ridiculous

Garza was doing a great job catching Hess. And at the plate. He played well

Are you kidding me? We're doing good to get the ball out of the infield against this guy!

You gotta think, it’s hot, humid, this has been a long game, he still has a little bit of a knee problem, and you need him for tomorrow.

Its cause he's caught 12 innings plus yesterday and has to catch more tomorrow

It was score or lose, IMO

No problem w pinch running there

When Josh Smith can’t win it on a 3-1 count FB down the middle after 70+ pitches from a guy who normally throws 30, you can hang it up

I’m going to bed. LOL

he was taken out to save his legs for the rest of the way, not because Bianco is faster

You gotta try to win the game at some point. Y'all can say Garza isn't that much slower than Bianco, but he's definitely slower and it could have been the difference between barely beating a throw at the plate and getting thrown out by a couple of feet.
