Are high schools to blame? It seems like that is the goal of HS.. To prepare kids for college. Unless there are special programs at a HS, it seems like everyone else doesn't matter.

Federal department of education is designing curriculums to prepare kids for college. Schools are graded on tests designed to judge kids on college readiness. And since the GI bill everyone wants their kids to be more educated than them.
We need more kids to not go to college, but I certainly want my kids to college and am not willing to sacrifice their chances
