I’m thinking of taking my kid next Friday. I’d lean toward Big Lake, but I’m looking for recs anywhere on the Louisiana coast.

Baton Rouge. I’ve got a place to stay near lake Charles, but would like to go where the fishing is good. I’ll head down thurs night ang fish Friday morning

Cocodrie Louisiana would be a solid bet right now. Plenty of guide services and places to stay near by.

It will be easier to find a guide on Big Lake. Kemo Sabe or Billy Chapman. See if they have something available. Kemo isn’t bull shitting either. I went out with Billy a month ago and the water was filthy but we fished our asses off and caught some specks.
