So you're saying that's normal then?

Haven't showered in there for months and then we suddenly had an issue with drain flies. Just finished offing those frickers with a wire brush cleaning and some DrainGel.

Yes it is normal, water is supposed to be in the p trap, but the lack of use might have caused some type of issue.

Your pee trap dried out. Reason as to why flies came up. Happens at my house due to nobody uses one of the bathroom tubs.
