Yes, I have went out on the plank for one particular candidate.the two opposing parties aren't a viable option for me nor is it for mostly anyone else within the dept. I refuse to work for them. A sheriff Dept. Is a multi million dollar business. Lived here all my life and it's just a nerve wracking time. It's a Small parish so politics are magnified.

Sid is running the office into the ground money wise and some big power brokers are going to put a candidate up against him.

skinny domino

Which part of that are you laughing at?

He 100% is running the office financially into the ground. Paying for his buying of helicopters and trucks on the backs of his deputies shite salaries and shorting manpower.

It is well known there are some folks that are prepping a candidate to run against him as well. Didn’t say the guy would win but there will be a real challenger this year.

So what was funny about those two facts?

Hopefully that moron, criminal Mike Cazes in West Baton Rouge loses. And then gets put in prison.

Being that's it's WBR though they'll re-elect him.

In Webster parish. Pulling for Jason Parker.

I spent nearly 2 years up there doing a controls upgrade at a plant in Cotton Valley (it was Marathon at the time). Stayed in Minden, mostly, while I was there. I can definitely see sheriff’s office politics being magnified there.

All I'm saying is, we need change in Terrebonne BAD. We need someone who isn't connected to the corrupt and shitty govt. we have now. There's only one man in this race that isn't tied to the current admin. He's gonna win.

They know he's gonna win too, that's why they're spreading rumors so early about him cleaning house if he gets elected. They can't win on merit, so they try to win on fear. Who else does that sound like? Hmmm.
