I have two bayou classics and they both seemed to have decreased in output this year. I assume I just need to remove the piece where the gas comes out and clean it? What are some easy methods in cleaning it? Wire brush? Compressed air? Soaking it in something?
Take the hose off the jet burner, and take the brass nut off the end where your flame comes out.
Take a rifle/gun cleaning kit and run the brush down the pipe a few times until no more rust and debris are coming out. Clean inside your brass nut and near the pinhole.
I had to do this regularly with my bayou classic double jet.
I upgraded to stainless steel last year.
See pic of what inside looks like when I used to clean tube out.

Damn, that is a lot of rust haha! Thanks for the advice.
I may just have to get the stainless steel double jet for my next burner.
