What to do with a highly intelligent toddler?

I know every parent thinks this and there's no possible way to say it and not come off like a mega douche, but I think my kid is really smart.
Kid is 20 months and he can already count to 20 and knows easily 500 words. You can basically have a conversation with this kid. It's unbelievable.
But it's also kind of freaking me out. How do I channel his energy into positive endeavours? Do I need to send this kid to some kind of x men school for geniuses?

My son was doing the same at 14 months. Your kid sounds retarded tbh.

Put him in the academia equivalent of travel ball.

Donate him to science

He’s probably not yours

Teach him how to code

Put him in a super lab under a laundromat making meth.

20mos, huh?
When I was that age, I was almost 2.

We could use a new president of LSU.

Sell him now while the market is high

If all that is true then don't treat him like a baby with that goo goo ga gag bullshite and have conversations with him. Regardless of how smart he is at 2, if he passes you before he gets into school then you are a complete moron. Challenge him

First off, dont be so reactive to every thing your kid does or you'll be on a rollercoaster ride your whole life.
If the child is in 1st grade and clearly is still above average then enroll him/her in an accelerated program or school.
Sometimes kids will go faster than others in the first 3 years or so then level out.

My kid just turned two and can count to 50 and can carry on a conversation like an adult

Give him a small loan of $1mil and see what happens next.
Posted on 5/12/19 at 12:26 pm to LSUTigersVCURams

He can do simple sentences. It's wild.
