Ricky, now you're adding apostrophes to pronouns. You aren't very good at this alter thing at all.

In this thread there were multiple posters, not just Tiger Ree who were upset at me “writing off” Nelson Jenkins Jaray Jenkins Cole Smith Travez Moore and Kenan Jones.

I’m not upset at you. I just think it’s a foolish point of view. As I posted earlier Nelson Jenkins has looked about the same as Mike Brockers at this point in Brockers’ career. It’s kind of crazy to write guys like that off.

look maybe you think they finally break out after being on campus for 3 years, thats fine. I disagree, with maybe the excpetion of Smith. We don't have to agree on everything, chief.

That's cool, Ricky, but Cole's only a RS freshman this coming year. How'd you reach the conclusion that he's never going to get on the field when you haven't even seen him play? Or are you just basing this off of all of the many Miles' OL that couldn't get on the field and ended up at Tennessee State, Abilene Christian, and Southeastern?

Jeez, why don’t you all just meet at Sonic and settle it there. This is really getting tiresome.

You're new to the rant but you seem to be pretty damn sharp. You'll catch on to ree's bullshite in short order.

Hell you probably already have.

fair enough.

I guess for me it is simply hard to see a path to playing time for these guys. obviously I want to see them work their tail off, you never know if one of them can shoot up the depth chart, but it would appear they all have multiple players ahead of them.

The dline is one place that the depth chart hardly matters. If a player can hold his own against an SEC oline he WILL play. We have 6 or 7 guys who will man the three big dline positions. If we have two more they will just rotate more and keep them fresher.

How about the hardships and countless times Kelly has stood by Ed since then? Since back when he was a younger, testosterone-jacked hotheaded alcoholic? I'm sure she's faithfully stuck with him because he's the same man he used to be, right?

I guess I'm going to burn in hell too if that shite from decades ago can't be forgiven. I've done worse than anything I've ever heard about Coach O doing.

I'm not the biggest O fan either, though I am warming up to him, a LOT. But that statement about a past that he is long bereft of, is asinine. I normally try to stay neutral on most non-political stances, but that actually pissed me off

It's sickening. I'm glad that you posted.

I've been saying this same thing when this topic comes up. He's obviously fixed the problem and appears to be a wonderful family man now. I'm not sure what else we can ask for out of people when the make mistakes other than taking the necessary steps to fix their problem.

Its great he's not that anymore, but why does LSU have to hire someone with that history?

It was 32 to 40 years ago. He's not that person anymore. He's obviously put anything he did behind him and we don't really know what happened anyway. I don't think he was convicted of any crimes. Why would anyone hold something against the man for that long?

So fricking sick to throw that up against that man. Seriously turns my stomach.
