They were a solid team last year, losing in the MAC final to Buffalo. Can't say I know much of anything else about them.

Didn't they beat Buffalo once in the regular season as well?

They did indeed.
From looking at their roster it looks like 2/3 of their top scorers from last year were underclassmen, including Justin Turner who averaged 18.2 a game. Turner apparently declared for the draft without hiring an agent and could come back.

Nice, Hopefully we play Kansans in Big 12 challenge in Lawrence. I want to go to FOg Allen. I know we start The VCU home and home series as well this year. Someone said a week ago though itll be Kansas State or TCu though. If that's the case Hopefully itll be at home.

This is some Wade masterful scheduling to a T.
Mid-major who won 20+ games last year - CHECK
Returns most of team (only losing 1 starter) - CHECK
NET should be 100ish or better - CHECK
Love the way Wade schedules, decent mid-majors pose little threat in beating us but help our schedule out tremendously.

Will Wade will be our coach for a long long time after the love and support we have shown him...book it

ETSU is always solid. If, IF, Wade were to have been let go, their HC, Steve Forbes, would have been a good replacement in a pinch

Believe we will play the BIG12 regular season champion if I am not mistaken. Of course the 1 year Kansas didn't win it!!

texas tech in baton rouge would be badass

Lol, you think we're out of the woods with the Wade thing?
I hope we are, love him, and want him here for a long time, but let's not act like the coast is clear yet.
The fact that we have an ad that wasn't even on staff when wade was reinstated and the deal that came out about naz getting paid, is enough to make me a little hesitant to be completely confident that Wade will be our coach in 2019-2020.
Just one more thought, I don't understand why everyone assumes that Scott is 100 percent behind Wade. He didn't say that when I listened to his press conference,i thought he was careful to be too optimistic. Just the way it sounded to me.

Completely agree. And it has been said a couple of times in this thread.
Funny thing is looking back at all the morons that bitched last Fall when the schedule was released talking about how it was more of the same scheduling and nothing exciting and blah, blah, blah. Now a lot of people see it as, "man, Wade's a genius."

I'm sure a lot of those same morons will probably be back in the Fall though when the schedule is officially released again.
