I called WMT on seigen. The guy said their tool to do oil changes broke a few days ago.

Sounds like he must operate the Mc'd shake machine too.

Benny's said they could do it for $107, 8qts needed. I'll wait til it quits raining daily to go. Free car wash too.

You should have told him go to the Tools department and find a socket set and they would be back in business.

The dealer does all my maintenance. Helps when I go to trade it in on a new one knowing they did all maintenance on said vehicle.

I've always done it myself, but just got a nice little pay raise.

So you’re gonna waste your raise on something you can do yourself rather than save it or spend it on something enjoyable?

Not in BR but I go to the 5 Minute Oil Change on Clearview and W Metairie. The last time I was there I got 15% off my oil change for breaking up a fight between a customer and one of the workers.

We have a running joke that whenever someone finds out one of us in FCDC the first thing they ask is "Do you know Woody?"

Well not really a joke, more like a reality.

The game changer for DIY oil changes is to get a oil pan valve, like the ones by Fumoto.

After that, oil changes become a simple 10-minute job.

Why anyone changes their own oil anymore is beyond me unless you're bored. I can get an oil change, new wiper blades and all fluids checked for the price of a case of oil. Oh and I get a free soft drink if I wish too.
