I’m surprised how bad LSU is playing but to be fair tech was rolling until recently which is understandable. They may make some noise n the tourney assume they get in. As far as LSU... pitching is a serious issue. We have some veteran bats that could and should get hot down the stretch. I still choose to believe this team can make a run. But they play so bad on the road so tney desperately need to host a regional

They beat LSU 12-1! It isn’t like they just snuck out a mid week win they embarrassed LSU. I’m not denying that La Tech might have a decent team but don’t act like they Florida or Oregon St from a few years ago.

This team is not going to make a run. CPM has checked out for whatever reason.
You have an Ace pitcher who refuses to pitch even after a Doctor has cleared him and given him 2 MRIs to verify that his arm is ok. There is something else going on here. This is just odd.
Hitting on this team is just bad. Look at the erratic hitting this team has displayed. No confidence at the plate at all. The team batting average is poor. Why?
Hold onto fantasy all you want but you better be ready for a shitt show this weekend.
Regarding hosting a Regional, that is doubtful already.

There is a lot of us on this board that have been watching since the 90s and before. This type of season would not have been ok back then with the expectations we had coming in to the season. Why should it be ok now

LSU baseball has fallen to a chance at a regional is good enough.
You can't realistically expect Omaha every year, but they should be in the national seed conversation every year and at least play in a super regional yearly.

Teams that have lost 7 of their last 8 games tend to be underrated most of the time.
