t’s a decent Italian wine, and my favorite grape to order. It’s the best name out there...

Cool, I'll look out for it in the Texas sections. Texas has better wine game than I initially thought.

I opened up a Barolo from Azienda Agricola Icollirossi. I got it for $29.99 and the Vivino average price is $70. Pretty good for the price. I also had another Nebiolo that was cheap. The guy at the store said it's the same grape and made the same as Barolo but they have strict licensing laws in Italy so it's not technically a Barolo.

Bump: Had the 2016 Parigi Nebbiolo d'Alba and the 2016 Barba Vasari Montepulciano d'Abruzzo last night. I'm running through italian reds right now.

Side note: Has anybody tried the Ridge Petite Syrah? Total Wines just stocked it last week.

Not it isn't the same as Barolo at all. Nebbiolo is the grape. Nebbiolo is wine produced to drink the year following release. Barolo is the pick of the litter of the grapes (and the terroir) and is released several years after bottling.

What’s a decent Amarone that people are drinking these days that’s readily available?
