What was your technique in obtaining the nuke in MW2?

Still haven't gotten mine. Might pop it in and give it a whirl tonight.
eta: this more than just your kill streak setup. what was your play style like? campy? always be moving? edge of the map? center?

I got two.
Campy a whole game is gay as shite. You definitely need to play whatever suits your style though. If you have good twitch reflexes then always be moving. Don’t be afraid to camp if the situation calls for it though.

I don’t think I’ve ever known anyone who has accomplished something like this with that is their main goal either lol. It’s always just been random while playing.

Easiest way is to play domination and spawn tube, then tube B till you get to 7.

I got several. I normally ran the M16 stopping power combo so one three-round burst would do them in. I noob tubed it up a few times and got one or two with the UMP.
For me, it was the teammates I ran with (Like Lew up there, BT, Coolside) that would make it easier to focus on one style of play to mesh with theirs
Facing a team too stubborn to switch to a class with the Stinger missile helps as well

Holding down an area with an ACR, Scavenger and having claymores watch my back.

I did that one time on top of the Favelas and my claymore got the 25th kill.
I’ve also made it to 24 kills in a row then ran out of ammo, threw a semtex, died, then the semtex got a kill.

For me it's Harrier, Chopper Gunner, Nuke. That chopper gunner can easily outkill the AC130.
I think I got around 10 or so before I didn't care to use that combo and tried to do it other ways.

You want to be on the outskirts and rotate within a set area. Never overreach and go into the center or on the enemy side. Scavenger type perks and slight of hand always help. This is with any COD or FPS if you want a high K/D.

nobody plays domination anymore
there is a tight window to get a nuke in team deathmatch, if your team is doing good in general you will hit the point total for victory before getting 25

Double digits. I got two in one match before. My favorite nuke will always be when I fricked rondo over.

Ground War was round based, I think. And whatever game mode it was where each team had to grab the one bomb and detonate it in the other teams base.

I would run around until I got 10-12 kills then at that point I would start playing a little more conservatively and sit back and use my killstreaks, if you go from attack helicopter into the AC130, you can generally get pretty close to 20, then its just a few more. You still have to have enough movement so that you see 25 people, for that fact I do not suggest camping.
