He's coached at LSU for 12 plus years, so that's at least 150 players or so. Because a handful want to coach at LSU or work their way into the college game means they want to work for him? Even if it is because they want to, that still leaves a lot left to not care for the guy. I've had conversations with players that have either won a world series with him or made it to the CWS with him, and they don't care for the guy at all.

Because you talked to a handful that didn't like him, that means the majority don't? You sound as stupid as the person you're chastising. None of us know how the majority of the players feel about him.
