If you talk to the majority of the players that have played for him, the pitchers in particular, they do not care for the man at all.

He's coached at LSU for 12 plus years, so that's at least 150 players or so. Because a handful want to coach at LSU or work their way into the college game means they want to work for him? Even if it is because they want to, that still leaves a lot left to not care for the guy. I've had conversations with players that have either won a world series with him or made it to the CWS with him, and they don't care for the guy at all.

No, the reason why is Pawful has a history of hiring former players, and it's a good springboard into coaching to have LSU on your resume. So, it's more about getting an SEC job at a top program, than to learn from PM. It's pretty common for someone trying to transfer into coaching to get a job under a former coach.
But thanks for trying to sway it differently.
