Touche. I don't recall anything with our current leaders though, which is understanding given their lack of experience actually leading an army.

Randyll Tarly was pretty much acknowledged as the best general in the Seven Kingdoms. Dany barbecued his arse between using the Dothraki and the dragons in a curb stomp battle.

Having conventional knowledge doesn’t necessarily hold up when phenomenon not seen in your lifetime comes up.



That’s not to excuse her stupidity as much as point out that this isn’t the Westeros of Robert’s Rebellion.
