Buying PS4- Need Game Recs

Hi All,
I currently have an Xbox One X and was wanting to play a good baseball title. Obviously the one on Xbox stinks and I wanted to play The Show.
I ended up using a bunch of Kohl’s Cash I got for buying my wife’s anniversary and birthday presents there- so I’m out of pocket $60 for the console.
I’d like some game recs for what to pick up for when the console arrives.

Let us know what you like besides sports games.
The two big PS4 exclusives are God of War and Horizon Zero Dawn, both 3rd person action adventure games, Horizon being open world. The complete edition of Horizon, which includes the one DLC they released, you can find for $20 most everywhere.

Action/adventure. Shooters. Sports games.
Only thing I’m not into are games like Fallout/other RPGs.

I edited my previous post. I think those would be two good options for you. I loved God of War as well. The combat is way more complex than compared to Horizon.

I still haven’t even played TLOU or Bloodborne and would put them both above these two.

Bloodborne is certainly not over HZD or TLOU. Bloodborne has sold around 3 million copies where as HZD and TLOU have sold over 10 million and 17 million respectively. God of War even sold 5 million copies in its first month. Bloodborne is definitely for a specific type of gamer.

Even though it has a remaster, TLOU is last gen and I never think of it for PS4, but it would be a good recommendation as well. Bloodborne, I wouldn't ever recommend it unless someone specifically said "I like souls games".

I never said it was over TLOU. Every person I know that’s played them all has said Bloodborne and TLOU are the GOAT of this PS4 library and I’ve seen that mentioned here as well.

It came out so close to the end of the ps3 life cycle that they had to remaster it. Just like GTAV. HZD and God of War definitely define this gen though. This poster seems like a casual gamer though if he says he likes shooters and sports games. I don’t think Bloodborne is in his wheelhouse.

Spider-man is a fun action/adventure game with a ton of characters and easter eggs if you are into the character at all.
