Never understood people’s infatuation with the battle flag? What purpose does it serve in today’s world? I was an extremely prideful southerner in my time living out west and never backed down of being proud of where I am from, especially in uncultured McCondoville known as downtown Denver. Having said that, the idea of flying a battle flag in any shape way or form from the confederacy has ever crossed my mind. Anybody have a solid reason to fly it?

Exactly. I particularly like the people telling me about the South as I work the same MS farmland that my ancestors have worked for generations.

I get it, both sides, trust me. I get it.

Honestly, it is mostly just a big FU to Yankees. I doubt that MANY Southerners are pining away for a return to the days of the Antebellum South, but we know that the Battle Flag annoys the crap out of Yankees.
