Now this is INTERESTING

Judge Rosemary Collyer signed the initial FISA Application on October 21, 2016.

Collyer was informed of FISA Abuse on October 24, 2016 by Dir Rogers.

Collyer is the same Judge who authored the damning April 26, 2017 unsealed FISA Court Ruling.

That story definitely wasn’t written entirely by a NYT reporter.

The initial FISA warrant was obtained/signed on October 21, 2016

Thanks for the clarification.

Wow...that is a major problem. Spying on American citizens without a warrant.

They're setting up the "yeah we did it, but it's all fricking good because Orange Man Bad" argument.

The issue is, if that is their play, they will need to justify continuing the investigation after they determined it to be false, which I don’t think they can do.

This is why their ENTIRE focus is ONLY on the justifying doing it.

They want to completely avoid the subject of the fact that they did it.......and found jack shite..........and THEN, CONTINUED saying he was a Russian asset and impaneled a SC to go after him for it.............for something they ALREADY KNEW was false.

And NOW? Now they want to cry obstruction of an investigation they ALREADY KNEW shouldn't have occurred in the first place

Even if Orange Man Bad how do they get around spying on Trump associates without a warrant?

LEO doesn't do that to the most hardened criminals.

get out in front of what is coming out; and say they thought the Russians infiltrated so they were black jesus heroes acting on national security purposes.

Yep, they are going to admit to the spying (only because they can't deny it anymore), but the spying was justified because they had good intelligence that Russia is a big meanie poopy face.

They’re also conveniently removing their paywall this weekend:

The first thing you have to accept is that NO ONE you debate on the left in relation to this subject actually CARES if it was technically legal or not. They also don't care at all if it was ethical. Hell, they don't even actually support doing it in principle.

They simply support doing it to their opponents
