We actually are in good shape with a few OL and DL at this time. Slow your roll, troll!

God damn this place is land of the stupid.
Hmmm. And yet here you are starting a thread like this the day after we get a 5* commit and O went live facetiming one of the best linemen in the country. Wow

quote:You are one stupid and miserable human being! You’ve gotta be hella retarded to not realize you’re the problem here. You’re not excited about the 5 star recruit cause if you were, you wouldn’t have said what you said about the trenches so move around with the lies and negativity. It also takes an idiot to also not realize that everyone and their mom knows our next step to success is adding top tier lineman but we have that already, you’re just too fricking spoiled and simple minded to see it. Stop being childish. Go your arse to another board with all that
I said we need rich line talent, not just depth - we need that too. This year and last year's classes are depth talent. We are going to need Bama and Clemson type line talent to be elite, which I don't see happening in the next few years.
My OP was in no way a response to the WR commit. Any time we get a 5* commit, at any position, is excellent. I don't know why we're talking about the WR... Wait, yes I do, because you're a negative Nancy and you can't help but think everyone on here is ungrateful.

My point was, by looking at future classes, there's not much to choose from. It's all east coast talent that won't come to LSU. Hopefully, O can steal some of those kids, we'll see.
Here’s a list of our targets on the Olin’s and Dline. Don’t start another shitty thread complaining after a 5* commits to us. Please and thanks.

Cam'ron Jackson
Courtland Ford
Paris Jackson Jr. (Current Ohio St. verbal)
Marcus Dumervil (probably our best shot right now)
Issiah Walker Jr. (Current South Carolina verbal)
Sedrick Van Pran out of Warren Easton (likely our top Center option)
Andrew Raym
Miller Merriweather-Lewis
Jake Wray
Marlon Martinez
Brady Ward
Cesar Reyes

For DL:
Jaqeulin Roy is the biggest name left on the board. 6’4” 290lb DE/DT with violent hands and a great motor. Climbing up boards at a rapid pace and may finish as a 5*. He goes to high school on LSUs campus and he’s the biggest need in the class. I think O lands Roy.
McKinley Jackson is a top 50 player from Mississippi. Jackson is 6’2” 330lbs. McKinley, like Roy, was commoitted to LSU but backed off to look around. Jackson has all the tools in the world but his work ethic is in question. The 247 guys are comparing him to Sospher. These MS kids are funny. I think we have a shot but he just feels like a Bama commit to me. Hope I’m wrong.
Jacobian Gulliory is a 6’2” 330lb NT from Alexandria. Strongest kid in the state for sure and may be in he country. Extremely powerful and has the ability to push double teams into the pocket. I think there’s a great chance we land him.
Branard Wright is 6’3” 300 LB DT/DE from Dallas. Wright has all the tools in the world but he’s extremely raw. His ceiling is as high as he wants it to be. I think if we have room we land him.
We have OLBs in Clowney and Bryant.
Jordan Berry is our lone DT commit if Cam’Ron plays OT
There will be other names that emerge of the next few months.

Why do you idiots downvote this spot on comment????

In regards to DL, another poster on another site had some inside 411 from a Texas based source on Wright. Apparently, LSU is in the lead and we have a great chance if we are super serious about him and make a big push.

I wasn't even talking about the WR

I'm talking about the fact that you are literally looking past the fact that we just scored a high ranked recruit
You can't even read and comprehend yourself.
I am not looking past the WR commit. Whether we get that 5* receiver or not, my original point still stands. Again, and I'll make it bold and capped for you - MY POST IS IN NO WAY A RESPONSE TO THE 5* RECEIVER COMMIT. If you can't understand that last sentence, then frick off because you're too dumb to have a conversation with.

Yes.. your post was about OL/DL.. I know that.. doesn't take a genius to know what you're saying. Now.. can you get out of your head for one second to understand why you're getting so much backlash, or are you just gonna continue to be ignorant and self-absorbed? Just give up already.. you're doing yourself a disservice

Anyone know if dumerville projects as a LT or as a RT???
Posted on 4/28/19 at 8:12 pm to TchPowDog
Maybe coach has some OL and DL kids on silent commit and they are just taking visits and enjoying the process. Meanwhile, coaches are out recruiting skill positions where we maybe don't have the silent commits yet.

We would be in much better shape if linemen who are not ready for the NFL wouldn't leave early for the NFL.

Let's state the obvious. Certainly line talent is important. And everyone on the staff knows this
