NOBODY would have hired O as head coach except LSU - not even Tulane.

I see no problem in someone rooting for Miles to have a little success at his new job. I usually always root for ex LSU coaches to do well after they move on. Unless they're competing against LSU like Saban is.

Just because you wish him ill will, doesn't mean everyone else has to as well.

You couldn't be more wrong Roger. But you're probably use to being wrong.

Hate to tell you, most of us aren't "haters" and wish both Orgeron and Miles well.

But you be you, Earl.

It's not all of a sudden. It's been here all along bubbling beneath the surface. It's the dregs. The seedy underbelly of the LSU world. Idiots that can't see past the nose on their face. If they even have a nose, most are so stupid that they've usually sawed their nose off to spite their face.
"dregs," "seedy underbelly," "stupid." All lobbed out in one post, just because others don't agree with you.

Wow.

Ok, explain how a level playing field would have given 2017 more passing yards than 2018?

More attempts, for starters.

A level playing field means you adjust for efficiency.

That's like saying Washington State has the best passing offense in the country because they have the most yards per game, but on a level playing field, they're far less efficient than Ohio State, much less Alabama or Oklahoma.

Well this is just desperation trying to make shite stick. Using that silliness, Tony Romo is a better QB than Tom Brady

I think we can all agree he has LSU football on an upward trajectory.
in the SEC, where it really matters, O has gone 6-2, 5-3.

Les' SEC record in his last 4 full seasons was 6-2, 5-3, 4-4, 5-3.

I'm not seeing an upward trajectory - looks about the same.

Well that's good to know because that's the metric most often used here to bash the current staff.

I've got bad news for you Roger - 2018's offense was 59th in total yards, 69th in yards per game, and 84th in yards per play. That "good to know" quip means 2018 was worse than you previously imagined.

I've never defended 2018. I'm just calling out your silliness describing the offense in 2017 as 32nd best, when we all know that's not true.

How about supplying me a link where I've stated I don't want o to do well.

Now, I don't expect him to be much better than a 9 or 10 win coach. But just because I expect him to fail, that doesn't mean I want him to fail.

Gosh, thanks Roger. Knowing I have your blessing to "be me", means a lot.

It absolutely was when you consider what you can control as an offense.

ETA - I'm a little disheartened this seems to be more high level than you can handle.

We were 34th in yards per play. That's much, much better than 2018.

That said if woodward was AD in 15/16 less than zero chance O is HC.
He would have sealed any deal with JF in 15 (And negotiated with FKA to not nix the deal) and with Tom Herman in 16.

I'm neutral on O. Just keep evolving the program and win more games than the previous year. Brady was a great get, but red caution flags remain. Still got those weak BBQ Buddy links on the staff. (DJ, MJ) The jury is still out on JC.

The god awful purple shoes and purple panti-hose/leggings have got to go though. That stuff looks like Circus Clown attire.

Yards per play idiot. How can you not understand that if one teams yards per play are much higher if you afford them equal attempts the team with the higher yards per play will have a lot more yards. But then again you just said that two completely different sentences were identical so i shouldn’t be surprised that you can’t understand simple math.

Oh lookey. Ole Madqueen is piggybacking off of his knight and changing his goalposts.

Like always.

Sorry man, 2018 we had more passing yds than 2017, just admit you're wrong and move on kiddo.
