Why don't you go ahead and list every single one of the coaches, that are coaching college baseball today, that have more than one

We're not talking about these coaches you dumb mofo....we're talking about the one currently collecting a big fking paycheck and doing exactly jackshite to earn it.

Shut the frick up with this dumb arse argument. Fresno State, a 4 seed, won a college world series. Coastal Carolina won a college world series. This isn't the days of Skip, where there were 2-3 good SEC teams and 8-10 good college baseball programs (not to mention the steroids our guys were on, with the bats they were using). Nobody fears anybody.

Then tell me who has proven they can do better. Surely Woodward will want to hire them.

You're like the idiots who wanted to keep Miles for so god damned long because they were afraid we couldnt do better or that the program would tank.
The O hire may not be the sexy choice everyone wanted but hes got the program headed in the right direction.

CPM seems content to sit on his arse while Rome burns.

I'd take Thompson at Aubie, Godwin at ECU, Whitting at Houston, or Schlossnagle at TCU over Pawl right fking now.

Nope. I wanted Miles gone two years before he was let go.

And that that natty team waas gift wrapped for Mainieri. Lewis Coleman.. mainieri’s lead starting pitcher.! But was a Turtle, and Smoke guy Blake Dean- Turtle Thomas recruit Ryan Schimpf-Turtle Thomas recruit. Recruited Schimpf for years Jared Mitchell- Mitchell fell into Mainieri’s lap. initially a Saban recruit, miles and Turtle recruited Mitchell hard. Decided to go play college baseball and football after being drafted and offered a 700k Sign on bonus by the Twins. Chad Jones-Fell into Mainieri’s lap.

So do coaches coach players up or do the players do what they do because of talent? I’m trying to figure out why somebody like you puts blame on PM for the results this year but doesn’t give him credit for coaching up a NC team? Are you that fricking dumb?

quote:

2013 was Mainieri’s team.. Mainieri had the best SEC pitcher ever, Aaron Nola and Bregman on the same team.. go 57-11 Overall, 23-7 in the SEC. Both SEC Champs and SEC Tourney Champs.. and you get bounced in Omaha in two games and only yielded 2 Runs.

So he gets credit here for doing what he was supposed to do which is have the best team in the country all year long but 2 games negates the great coaching job he did the whole year. If you actually watched baseball and understood it you would know the best team most years does not win the NC. Keep running your dick moisturizer though

Savage- been at UCLA 16 years and made it to Omaha THREE times....THREE!!!!. Missed the postseason completely FOUR times.

O’Conner- been at UVA 14 years and made it to Omaha 4 times. Lost in the regionals 8 times and didn’t make the postseason at all last year.

Schlossnagle- I’ve already talked about him in another dumbass thread. PM resume shits his out for breakfast. Dude hasn’t won shite in 16 years at TCU.

Fox- doesn’t have a natty in 20 years at NC. Lost in the regionals about 8 times. Missed the postseason completely in back to back years in 15-16 I think. He’s a good coach but PM has a better resume in a tougher league.

I’ll bunch the last three horrible answers together. If you actually in your sober mind watch college baseball and think DVH and Bianco are better coaches you are not being taken seriously whatsoever. Their resumes are terrible especially stacking up with PM. They are the most underachieving coaches in the SEC but let me guess you think DVH is good because you saw on ESPN they made it to the CWS finals last year. Ray tanner is not even a college baseball coach so this is an equally fricking idiotic answer. Try again sweetheart with some more answers

Agreed. He should crush a can of Red Bull on his head, rip off his shirt and challenge the team to a fight.

Can someone explain to me why the coach is always the first one to be thrown to the lions as if they're the ones on the field playing. CPM has consistently had successful teams both in the regular and post season. Why is he at fault for some of our batters not being able to buy a hit some nights and our pitchers shitting the bed some nights. The lack of a hitting coach and injuries are more to blame for that but again, most of that is out of his hands. At some point we have to say maybe this isnt CPM's fault and it's the players faults. If the team was performing as expected this wouldn't even be a fricking thread rn.
