I think its more to just not have people on the streets, especially since it was gonna be a long weekend anyway and the weather was gonna be hitting alot of areas as school got out. Both people that were killed in Mississippi were traffic fatalities related to the weather.

But, a fatality in Alabama last night, the woman was in her mobile home and a tree fell on her house.
