Who are you replacing him with?
As I told you in the other thread, there are plenty of great options if you are willing to think outside the box. The minors has several young up and coming coaches that with the right support staff would be great

CPM recruits too many little, scrawny guys who are not strong enough to generate the bat speed it takes to catch up to today's pitching. Look back at the Carolina Coastal team from 2-3 years ago - that team had some monsters.

PM got some 'splainin to do...
Posted on 4/17/19 at 10:52 am to LSUStar
Still waiting on someone to name an actual coach that we could get that is as good or better than PM. Two posters have used a variety of "there are plenty". Let's be specific.
There are plenty of issues with PM. Replacing him 2 seasons removed from a CWS Championship Series appearance isn't the answer though. Maybe if we hire a competent AD, the person will call PM in and evaluate his past hires. Maybe the new AD will even give PM a little more salary to work with to surround himself with better coaches.
All of those things should be tried before we throw him to the curb.

The only 'splainin' that PM needs to do is why he has filled his staff with only one assistant coach, and the rest former players who have no business being assistant coaches for the first time at a top program.

What do you want to explain, that limited people want to move to Baton Rouge and work for free?

He explained it a few games ago. He said, "It's hard to explain."

That does not qualify as an explanation as it explains nothing. I am not for replacing PM, but he was supposed to have one of the best teams in college baseball. They do not have a record to reflect that.
