Nope. No way. No how.

I really like good roads, good restaurants, great schools and a myriad of opportunities for economic development.

There is zero of that in those areas, but, you do have good hunting and fishing, so there's that.

My brother lives just up Hwy 1 towards Blanchard and my mom lives in Waskom. To me it seems like they're only about a 15 minute drive from anywhere they need to get to.

I do quite well by sheer luck. The company I work for was bought out 8 years ago by a company that has let us stay in Shreveport/Bossier. All of actual work is for assets that are based in Texas/other states.

My son has six more years of middle/high school. I will advise him to leave the state after college graduation (if he goes in state), and I'll be leaving for Texas after he's done with high school/college.
