What are some of the things you like/hate about family owned business? As a barometer, how big is the company (approx revenue)?

Around $10 mil. Small (around 30 employees) company that is in a specialized construction and engineering field. With it being a small family owned company it's nice to be treated like family, but at the same time they have actual family members working here so when decisions are made non-blood related family members get treated like the slow cousin.
