That's a bad idea. Even if it's the OEM spec oil, 5W-30 is the minimum that should be run in those engines. Synthetic 10W-30 is an even better choice. For those that would say that oil is too thick, Ford specs 5W-50 in the Mustang Coyotes.

Except for the part where he advised to dump a quart of utter crap thickener in it.

I’m pretty sure my 5.0 calls for either 0w-20 or 5w-20
