The problem with GameStop is it's literally run by people who know nothing about the gaming community and don't care to learn. They care about the bottom line. Forever everyone has bitched and moaned about how GameStop employees force shite on them. And what does GameStop do? They give them tablets now so they can meet you at the door and follow you around the store.

I caught some middle aged "salesman" trying to slap the $2 protection on one of my purchases without telling me. I called him out on it and told him what he did was illegal and he could get fired. He got wide eyed and acted like he had no idea and apologized repeatedly. I caught him doing it again a few weeks later to another customer when I was in there and finally asked for their area manager (store managers wont do shite) and I didn't see him after that. I also had another employee basically beg me to get a subscription to their magazine.
