This is what I’m looking for, I’ll contact Tammany Tree Service—someone who knows the area and rules of doing such a project.
We’re not looking to sell anything yet. Like I said in the OP, still in the elementary stages of the process. I haven’t even contacted a land agent to get a quote on how much this land is worth yet. I do know that a portion of the land is in a floodplain though.
My wife and I want to respect the neighbors along 1081 and not sell to a big developer.
I’ll keep updating this post for more advice as we continue the process. Thanks for the recommendation.

Good on y’all. I’ve been looking for a bigger piece out there to get away from all the development closer to town
Keep this thread updated with your experience with whatever tree folks you go with. Could be helpful for myself and others going forward, as most of my work with Tammany Tree has been on commercial jobs.
