Question for CPA’s - anyone get their CFF?

I’m a CPA and CFE. I recently began work for a governmental agency as a Forensic Accountant, involving a lot of work in litigation.
I have thought about adding a CFF certification (certified in financial forensics) to bolster my claim as an expert in the accounting field.
I do not know anyone personally who has this designation. Does anyone on the OT have or know much about the CFF? Is it something that you gained knowledge from or simply added the designation (IE- I learned from studying for the CPA. After gaining my CFE, I felt like it was mostly just a chore to add a designation and I gained nothing professionally other than that).
Any other thoughts?

Why do CPA's act like they're better than everyone else?

Most of us, myself included, work an insane amount of hours for a very average salary. I don’t think any of us feel like we’re better than anyone
Most of our jobs suck

CPA is kind of the top of the rung
Most people I know with CIA, CISA, CFE or whatever else is more for them to specialize and probably couldn't pass the CPA to begin with
I think some of them were just set up to make money for whoever oversees the credentials

This is funny. I know a lot of CPAs and not one “acts like they’re better than everyone else”.
Where did you come up with this ?

I feel the opposite of this. I wonder why I chose this career path every day

In LA the pay scales suck but in larger cities you can make a lot more money for similar work

Yes.
Looks good on a resume. Particularly in a Court setting.
I can’t say I learned a lot i didn’t know getting the CFF.
I wasn’t any smarter the day after I passed the CPA exam either.

I’ll be in a court setting a lot and this is the career I want to do for the rest of my life so that’s very helpful, thanks

I should add that it is a good thing to be able to say to clients and attorneys that you are a certified forensic accountant. Gets you some points right out of the box.
The best thing for you, if you plan on testifying a lot is to learn how to be a breed witness.
Always remember that you are there as a fact witness, not an advocate. The legal world in this arena is a small community and they will learn who you are and what you do and how you do it.
