im excited to see Man city get down 1-0 early. everyone starts piling on with their hatred and trolling. then man city ends up winning 3-1 and everyone turns to simple and irrational hate.

This is Delph's 3rd start of '19.
The other two: Burton Albion and Swansea City.

If this doesn’t show how much Pep is valuing the league then I don’t know what will.
Can only assume he is looking at it thinking it’s over if we drop a single point, but we get two chances to beat Spurs with an aggregate score. Don’t get run out of the building today, maybe score a goal or two and he may end up looking like a genius.
Or maybe we Delph gets abused all night and Otamendi gets another red and we get run out of the new WHL 3-0 like we did last year at Anfield.

Basically all I can figure. Even then, no Bernardo or Danilo worries me and with Mendy out Delph has to be solid. Our only real option in the back would be shift Laporte left and put Stones on for Delph.

Is Silva injured?
He traveled with the team and trained fully in the last session. No knock I know of.
Maybe Pep sees this as the last match he won’t play for the rest of the season.
ETA: Sam Lee just said on twitter he strained a muscle is out as a precautionary measure.

No real surprises here... good to see Gomez back on the bench

Lmao imagine fielding a full lineup.
May as well surrender the league now.

Why would he value the league over finally winning the champions league at City? They won it last year?
I guess another excuse to stick around and spend another billion or so?

Pretty sure we did that a few weeks ago.

I mentioned it in the same post.
He must feel as though if we drop any points in the league it’s lost. But for the most part every player starting today is serviceable. If he can draw or even win and rest a few key players then it will be worth it.
Big if though.

KDB can say whatever the frick he wants. Stay away!
Sterling is going to dominate today. Aguero is going to dominate today. Ali is a bitch. frick Spurs. Let's do this.

Delph is about to bundle Son on that left side. Expecting a Mangala vs PSG type performance.
