Third team
Florida SouthWestern State sophomore Charles Manning Jr. put a bow on his incredible two-year career as he was honored with one of the NJCAA’s highest awards by being named the program’s second NJCAA All-American.
Manning Jr. was named a Third Team NJCAA All-American after leading the Bucs to a Suncoast Conference Championship and a fifth-place finish at the NJCAA National Tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas. He led FSW, averaging 16.8 points per game, topping the 20-point mark seven times on the season. It wasn’t just scoring though as he put up 4.8 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.1 steals per game this season, each ranking second on the team.
The LSU signee follows in the footsteps of Tremell Murphy, who was FSW’s first All-American in program history last season. Manning Jr. finished his career as FSW’s second all-time leading scorer with 900 points, just four points behind Murphy’s 904. However, his 503 points this season established a new single-season program record.

I was skeptical of this signee coming into this season but he really blossomed. I expect us to add a handful more JUCO guys here

FWIW, Billy Embody said if he hears that Wade has been reinstated before Trendon Watford signs then he's immediately switching his CB back to LSU.

What about Quinones? I didn’t wanna start a whole thread about it but I feel like we have been his leader up until this past month. Would be a shame to lose either of them to Memphis of all places regardless if a former NBA player is their coach or not.

Yes and the transfer portal may be our best friend.
There is still a solid corp four in Willams, Smart, Days and Taylor. Graves will contiue to develop and provide a solid 10 minutes, more if he is hot and the two redshirts have a year in the system even if no experience. They are one more big recruit from being a top 10 to 15 team. Warford would be huge along with Dante.
It will be Smart's team to lead and Emmitt Williams could develop into a Tyrus Thomas type player if he plays 30 minutes. Remember how dominant he was in the high school all star game last spring.
If Manning can be consistent threat from the perimeter and with his slashing game this team will be very strong.

Good to see about Manning. Now if we could just hurry up and get Wade reinstated!

He said Quinones would be a little harder to read than Watford, but I guess anything is possible.
