I liked the series ok, but this is where they lost me a bit. It was trying to be too many things at once, a spy thriller, a teenage girl coming of age story and a family drama etc.

I stopped watching after 3 or 4 episodes for a combo of the plot holes mentioned by Vol and the things you brought up.
