I cannot stop playing tetris 99

Highest was 8 iirc. It is indeed quite addicting. I like how the music changes the higher you get in the standings too. The Tetris theme is one of the best.

I've won once, finished top 5 a bunch of times. I've got a friend who somehow wins a ton, actually placed in the tournament a few weeks ago. No idea how he does it

Ok, so every now and then I am getting ganged up on early and failing early, but I am usually consistent in placing in the 20s or upper teens.

I start off with random and attack attackers if I get targeted.

I side stack and wait for the long bar for tetris line clears.

I send my tetrises to KOs early, and switch back to defense.

I send 3 lines or more to badges a little later.



I have not even tried to do t-flips. I played a version of tetris where you could do any flip into a space if done right, and that would be fun if the game could add those. As well as building a perfect square.

Both of those were in Tetris 64.

I basically only play defensively, 1-2 like breaks 70% of the time in my own. I keep a straight block in reserve, and will always pull it out to not get behind.

Playing defensively like that gets me pretty high unless I'm playing a slew of super super aggressive people. That being said: even with super aggressive players, the defensive style will end up netting me some big badges, which allow me to go pretty far sometimes a well

I've been in the top 2 twice. top 5 many times. never won tho

10 is my highest, I cannot get passed 10.
