His terminology, which may ultimately spare him, if he is talking about what everyone thinks he is, seems to indicate that he is anticipating the possibility.

People, in their haste to throw gas on Wade and light the match, are pretending that he is the only one who was talking to a handler, instead of letting someone else do it. We already have Sean Miller's voice, and Bill Self's texts caught up in this, and we have been told that there are a lot of names that will come out. We only have leaked "information", thus far.

I'd imagine there comes a time in the recruitment of a lot of the top players, where the coach, not the intermediary, has to do the talking to try to close the deal. Whatever deal that might be.

Like the OP said, it was just bad timing for Wade, and people are acting like he did something unusual. What do they know? What are they going to say if all kinds of big names end up being on recordings, when the rest of this information is released?

That they were all asking for it by dealing directly with Dawkins.
